Kristi, a 19-year-old Louisiana college student, discovers a secret her doctor and parents have kept from her all her life, sending her on a search for truth that uncovers a radical psychological experiment and a global media scandal.

Grace Hughes-Hallett created and produced Three Identical Strangers, produced The Dark Matter of Love, and has directed documentaries that examine a wide range of stories, from the lives of ultra-orthodox women in Israel to the relationship between the British royal family and the press. She is the winner of a Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Emmy and shortlisted for an Oscar. The Secret of Me represents her feature directorial debut.
