On Pele, a remote island in the middle of the Pacific, nature is sacred. On March 14th, 2015 Pele was devastated by one of the worst natural disasters in their history, destroying the landscape and traditions of the people of Pele. Antonella Carrasco Zuffi lives in Ecuador and is an MFA graduate of the School of Visuals Arts Social Documentary program in New York.
